Todd S. Payne is a founder and the Managing Partner of Zebersky Payne Shaw Lewenz, LLP. He Chairs the firm’s Corporate and Healthcare Practice Groups and is Co-Chair of the firm’s Commercial Litigation Practice Group. He has been recognized in publications such as the Daily Business Review and the National Law Journal as one of the top attorneys in the country. Mr. Payne received is AV® Preeminent™ Peer Review Rated by Martindale-Hubbell® and is consistently named a Florida “Super Lawyer.”
Todd represents corporate and individual clients in complex commercial litigation, healthcare litigation, and class action/mass tort litigation. Additionally, Mr. Payne handles a variety of corporate and transactional matters, including business and real estate acquisitions, corporate mergers and buy-outs, corporate formations, payer/provider contracts, as well as contract and lease preparation. Todd has litigated cases ranging from payer/provider disputes on behalf of healthcare clients, to $100 Million aviation disputes, and corporate matters ranging from formation of entrepreneurial start-ups to large-scale corporate and real estate deals.
Mr. Payne served as Vice Chairman of the Judicial Nominating Procedures Committee, and on the Rules of Judicial Administration Committee for the Florida Bar and is an active participant in the American Health Lawyers Association, the Federal Bar Association, the University of Miami Law Alumni Association, and a host of other legal and charitable organizations.
