Michele L. Guerrero
With a Bachelor’s Degree in Liberal Studies and a Certificate in Paralegal Studies from Barry University, Michele Guerrero
works closely with our attorneys and clients on complex commercial and corporate litigation, lien and mortgage foreclosures, construction and collections cases. Michele can also assist with corporate matters, trademarks, real estate cases, including landlord/tenant, condominium and homeowners associations as well as commercial property management. Michele is a Florida Registered Paralegal, a member of the National Association of Legal Assistants and South Florida Paralegal Association as well as a supporter and volunteer for various charities. Michele has been at Zebersky Payne for over 15 years and has over 20 years of experience as a paralegal.
Norma L. Diaz
Norma Diaz is a litigation legal assistant and a Florida Notary Public. She has 30 years of experience in complex commercial and civil litigation,
including insurance litigation and class actions, personal injury and personal injury protection (PIP), medical malpractice and wrongful death. Having worked for the firm for more years than any other Zebersky Payne paralegal staff, Norma is an instrumental and invaluable asset to the team. She is fluent in English and Spanish, and helps to communicate with clients with a variety of backgrounds.
Susana G. Oquendo
Susana “Susie” Oquendo is a legal assistant at Zebersky Payne. She has over 30 years of experience in the legal field and has assisted in cases ranging from complex commercial and class action litigation, to collections, landlord/tenant and a variety of corporate matters.
Susie is a trusted confidant and a true asset to the firm; her outstanding grammatical and editing skills have sparked the firm’s use of the term “Susie-ized” to refer to the impeccable result of her critical document review. Susie is also a Florida Notary Public and is fluent in English and Spanish.
Melissa is a paralegal who focuses primarily on complex commercial litigation, consumer litigation, and class action litigation. Melissa also assists with matters involving
severe personal injury, premise liability/negligent security, and school bullying. With nearly 10 years of experience as a paralegal, Melissa is proficient in the rules and procedures of both state and federal courts across Florida. She is fluent in English and conversational in Spanish.
Originally from Brazil, Manuella has been a resident of the state of Florida since 2002. She has worked as a Legal Assistant for over 15 years and for the
last 10 years she has focused primarily in the Personal Injury field. Ms. Anderson assists in cases from initiation to conclusion, working closely with clients, attorneys, insurance adjusters, medical providers, etc. She is a Florida Notary and is fluent in Portuguese, English and conversational in Spanish.
Susan can be described as the go-to person in the office to ‘get er dun’ when it comes to the day-to-day operations including financial, human resources, marketing, technology,
A/C temperature and communication with firm management. With more than 30 years of experience in the legal profession, Susan is a seasoned professional with knowledge and expertise in many areas that are an invaluable asset to Zebersky Payne, as our Director of Office Affairs. Susan is very active with the South Florida Chapter of the Association of Legal Administrators, Legal Aid and her church.
